We can feel Lucy's puppies really well now! The best time to get the chance is about 11 o'clock at night. Poor Lucy, I hope for her sake that they aren't wiggling all night long. Last night we felt 3 at once, they were rambunctious the whole five minutes we were bugging Lucy to let us feel. There's no way that was just one puppy. One was clear up in her ribs. So, I figure, if there are (at least) 3 on just one side, then there must be 3 on the other side and we're gonna get at least 6, right? Plus, if 1 was up in her ribs, they must be squished in there and there must be a lot, right?! Anyway, it's still pretty exciting, not crazy yet! The craziness should begin in about 3-4 weeks, when they are 2-3 weeks old. There is only just about a week left to wait for the little ones!
If you know anyone who wants a lab puppy, send 'em to the Top Gun Kennels link.
