TWO

Well, having 2 children is harder than having one. It takes literally twice as much time. You would think if you already have those things to add in, it would simply be a little more, nope, it's double the work! Needless to say, my house has suffered and I avoid leaving the house much more often than I did with one, even though I can do it.
On a pat-on-the-back-to me note, I think I do well giving each child the attention she needs and deserves since it does have to be split.
All that being said,  I do not understand why people (who have the ability) would only have one child. That seems ridiculous to me. Not only do you have the spoiled factor, or the fact that when the day comes that Mom and Dad die, the poor child has to deal by him/herself, but dude, siblings are the cutest things EVER!! I mean, of course they are going to fight and get each other in trouble, etc, but they LOVE EACH OTHER SOOO MUCH!!! Hailey is the BEST little helper! She loves holding her sister and kissing her and telling her good night. Avery stares at her big sister and watches her so often. I often imagine a few years down the road when Avery is Hailey's age now and will want to do everything her big sister does; go to school, play with friends and so much more. Then further down the road, how Hailey will be in High School and Avery will think she is the coolest thing ever....okay, okay, I'll stop now. But seriously, just like having one child is rewarded by the first smiles and giggles, having a second child is rewarded by seeing the admiration they have for one another!

On Grandpa and Grandma's "Farm"

Hailey loves going to G & G Hadley's house because they have 5 acres, which includes Lightning, and Spirit too, and a bunch of chickens and the 4-wheeler also.
Avery will love it one day too, she likes to see the horses and even tried to kiss Lightning once, or maybe bite him.  ;)

Field Trials too

Hunt Test - Check! Field Trials are next.
Cougar ran a couple of Field Trials in 2012, this year he ran two more. A Field Trial is a hunt test on steroids, except that it isn't a pass/fail, it is a placement. They do 1st-4th place and then a Judges Award of Merit which is the equivalent of an honorable mention. He earned one Reserved JAM (best of the honorable mentions) and one JAM. That means he did well, but not well enough to earn points which go toward an additional title on the end of his name.
