This is the second time that Justin has ridden Lightning. His Dad rode him too the last time....just not me, I'm not allowed yet, my turn will come (after Justin feels that he is safe).
Anyway, we're pretty excited that he is a RIDABLE horse now!! He just turned 4 on the 21st of May, so it's about time! You can see his major ouch on his leg too; that's been over 7 months ago and it will still be a long time until the swelling goes down to a not so frightening level, but he is ridable, it doesn't seem to bother him at all, we just have to keep checking on it!
This is how I entertained myself after I was done walking around. (I've been trying to do lots of walking these last few days!) I chased the little cotton tails around, seeing how close I could get!

you look so cute. fun for justin and i love the bunnies.
It will be nice when you get your country home and can have your horse and bunnies and dogs and etc. etc etc. and i can come visit and enjoy them all but then leave and and leave the taking care of them to you. I miss my dogs, but don't miss the responsibility. :)
